Tech Lead Java Developer

This is your mission

• Lead a team responsible for developing new complex to highly complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software in both development and maintenance capacities.
• Develop, code, test, and debug new moderately complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software in a maintenance role.
• Understand business applications, enabling the effective alignment of technical solutions with business needs.
• Collaborate with technical staff to understand software-related issues and resolve them.
• Address customer complaints regarding software and responds to suggestions for improvements and new features.
• Assist in the development of technical documentation related to software and its enhancements.
• Design and code moderately complex applications using routine or advanced technology, and may create optimization programs or prototype applications.

What you bring along

• Must have at least 7-9 years of experience and must be fully proficient with Java programming language and various Java EE technologies.
• Thorough knowledge and hands on experience with Spring, Hibernate and web services is a must.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design.
• Experience in XML/Web Services technologies.
• Understanding of relational databases (Oracle, SQL).
• Demonstrated knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Experience with build tools Ant/Maven/Gradle.
• Experience with Apache Camel and/or ServiceMix.

Nice to have

• Agile experience is a plus.
• Experience in JMS/MOM, JBoss, JMX, Drools.
• Understanding of TDD practices and experience with JUnit/Unit Testing.
