We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to strengthen our team, improve the existing solution and design new features. As a part of our team, you will work within SCRUM methodology. The project uses digital technology in the biotech industry. The role is fully remote.

Vacancy level: Middle

Cooperation type: Full-time, B2B contract

Salary: B2B: 20160 – 22680 net +VAT

This is your mission

  • Collaborate within an agile team (SCRUM) to develop and improve software solutions.
  • Assist in the ongoing modernization of the application, including feature rewrites and architecture updates.
  • Learn and share best practices in Java development.
  • Support the team with testing, debugging, and deploying new features.
  • Contribute to a collaborative environment and grow your technical skills.
  • Impact the development of a key product.

What you bring along

  • At least 5 years of proven commercial experience as a Java back-end developer.
  • Experience with JVM is a must.
  • A deep understanding of the entire web application development process, including design, implementation, and deployment.
  • Very good knowledge of: Java 8/11 Spring REST API JUnit / mocking libraries.
  • Knowledge of design patterns.
  • Knowledge of the JVM (especially the ability to optimize application performance.
  • Memory management and performance troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of spoken and written English, enabling smooth Team communication and documentation.

Nice to have

  • DevSecOps skills, including Azure Cloud and JBOSS.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies, especially React, JavaScript.
